We are happy to announce that the meeting with Vladimir Sakovich, CEO of Skolkovo Ventures, will be held on October, 25 at 12:00.
The meeting will be dedicated to a career in venture investments. Vladimir will tell about his journey, as well as answer questions from the audience. The speaker will share his experience in the venture business and the investment sector in general.
Vladimir Sakovich held the position of Investment Director of the Venture Capital Department of VTB Capital, where he participated in more than 15 venture deals in Russia, the USA and the EU, including syndicates with international venture funds (Sequoia Capital, Bessemer Venture Partners, Google Ventures, Qualcomm Ventures). Several portfolio companies have been brought to the stage of successful “launch” (M&A and MBO in Russia, IPO on NASDAQ, M&A in the USA). The speaker was at the origins of the creation of Skolkovo Ventures, being the head of the investment service of the Skolkovo Foundation since 2015.
Since the foundation of Skolkovo Ventures in 2017, he has been managing the investment unit. In August 2019, Vladimir Sakovich was appointed CEO of Skolkovo Ventures.
