We are happy to announce a meeting with Dmitry Pisenko, vice-president and head of treasury at Morgan Stanley. The meeting will be held on April, 19 at 19.00.
Morgan Stanley is one of the largest investment banks in the world. It has been operating in Russia since 1994, whilst acquiring its banking license in 2005. At the beginning of 2020 a wide restructuring was announced. Since then, banks’ trading and banking licenses were revoked. Morgan Stanley’s future focus will be investment banking and global capital markets.
The meeting will be devoted to this reorganization. Dmitry will talk about bank’s plans for restructuring and further activities in Russia, as well as about the prospects of the largest foreign investment banks on the domestic market. Besides that, the functions of treasury in IB will be another topic, along with their differences from those of commercial banks’.
Dmitry graduated RUDN in 2006. In 2009-2014 he worked at Japanese Sumitomo in treasury department. Since 2014 Dmitry has been at Morgan Stanley, where he rose up to become a vice-president and head of treasury.
