As we promised, during the NES Investment Research Challenge we will hold multiple master classes for the participants. On January, 26 at 19:00 a meeting with Michael Shlemov, Managing Director of VTB Capital Research will be held. The event will be in open-to-all format.
The meeting will be dedicated to the foundations of research. Michael will tell us about goals of research and its role in the financial industry. Also, the speaker will discuss goals of analysts and his career path.
Michael graduated from the Financial University in 2004. He started his career as an auditor in KPMG. In 2007 he became a researcher in Deutsche Bank and later, in 2008, in VTB Capital. Starting from 2013 Michael was an Executive Director in UBS. In 2017 he returned to VTB Capital as Managing Director.
